Antique French La Tausca 1920's ornate filigree brass jewelry box accented with blue glass beads. This model was made in 1924. The inside is ivory silk lined with La Tausca Pearls printed in gold. The silk is completely intact!, a very rare sight nowadays. This was originally purchased as a gift for the bride-to-be. A presentation chest for a high quality pearl necklace given to the bride on her wedding day for her to wear with her wedding attire. They were also advertised as a wonderful and unusual gift for 30th wedding anniversaries. Measures 5.9” x 5.9” (151x151 mm), 2.5” high.
