03 polaris Sportsman 500 ho awd "as is" "

I bought this atv thinking it would be a cool project I knew apsolutly nothing about these machines and have never riden an atv before in my life .how ever being good mechanic on small engine motors how hard could it be to get it running (from what ive read these motors are very easy to work on& that is very true ,how ever there air and fuel delivery systems are complex ive learned) this did not run at the time when i got https://offerup.com/redirect/?o=aXQuaXQ= had exposed to the elements for a few years .we drained out all fluids for possiable water that may have been left inside of major components replased with polaris recomended fluids & ive purchased parts that were missing totally that were not on it when i got it I have managed to throw some money into it and my labor and time ive changing out all the major fluids and fuel delivery system basic tune up parts are all new , fuel pump, fuel switch, air cleaner filter, new polaris rated motor oil and transfercase fluid, new starter gear throwout bearing, new head lights, cleaned the carburator, replaced the gas ,new spark plug,new hoses and filters . Ive managed to get it cranking,and starting and running briefly but then it dies ,runs good and components inside the motor are impressively clean look like brand new ,no signs of carbon built up inside & ive restored some of the worse imaginable motors on small equipment one could not believe Would ever run again and ivecbrought them back to life again ,they all just need a little TLC and fenessing ,some of the motors ive restored are still currently operateable and still running currently ,owners dont know how i did it and im up for a challenge .but this motor is out of my realm and functions much different than a normal 4cy engine with that said are one of the highest sought after motors and machines still currently on the market with that said I just dont have the resources or time to continue working on it ,my boy friend just under went tripple by pass heart surgery and can not lift anything for over 10lbs for 3-6 months & scince his recovery hes had other health issues emerge like his sysatica nerve acting up so i must attend to his recover not the machine) i honestly feal this machine and motor have alot of life left in it still and not alot of used hrs on it but i dont want it to sit here &let my hard work go to waist and as a female who loves restoring these types of machines .lifes unexspected challenges of got in the way and i already have so many other projects im working on currently that still need finishing also .Im only looking to recoupe my money ive thrown into it. This far . Now that my boyfriend cant work right now to pay the bills for the next few months . Hes a disabled Vet so i have no dought hell be back on his feet in no time at all and he hates his limitations right now but well get thru it . Selling it as is with bill of sell . Ive talk to dmv and the back fees to bring it up for registration are $180 last reg in 2017 .the previous owner only used it on there private property so he stop paying the dmv reg fees on it . So best for a rancher or farmer who can use it on provate land not recreationa public lands locations asking $1500 o. B. O
