And so, in that he found that using a process much like offset lithography (but in reverse) and a 500° oven it should be done even better than imagined. The chosen stone is natural slate - each being slightly different in Texture, pigmentation, and cut, make each (Art Stone) one-of-a-kind. Using a special ink, images are burn into the stone embedding the ink into its surface. They are then cooled and sealed and finally titled and signed by the artist. The result is as you see it……. striking perfection on imperfect natural (and often irregular) stone. Sold as a set. Made in Alaska.
