For sale is a beautiful, highly collectible vintage 1988 Monex $10 Trade Eagle 1 oz Silver Round. This historic bullion piece was privately minted in the 1980s by Monex International. It features a striking design of a flaming torch with laurel branches on the obverse, and a soaring bald eagle on the reverse. The reverse famously features the historic promotional buyback text: "Monex guarantees to repurchase this ingot for no less than ten U.S. dollars until Jan. 1988." Item Condition: This round is in beautiful Uncirculated / Mint State condition. It exhibits excellent original mint luster and mirror-like fields. There is very minor, attractive light golden-brown natural aging/toning developing along the rims, which gives it incredible vintage eye appeal. It has normal, light surface contact marks/hairlines consistent with standard long-term storage, but shows absolutely no signs of wear or circulation.
