Vintage Nippon Porcelain Bowls with gold trim

Description

In excellent condition. The bowl is octagonal in shape and features hand-painted grape designs with raised gold moriage work (slip decoration) and gold trim. "Nippon" refers to porcelain made in Japan for export to the West, specifically marked with the word "Nippon" on the base. This practice was common from 1891 to 1921.
