Antique Diener Evegal chemical fire extinguisher, likely dating from the 1920s but I have not found a date. • Manufacturer: Geo. W. Diener Mfg. Co. of Chicago. • Material: Constructed from copper with brass fittings and labels. • Operation: Designed to be turned upside down to initiate the chemical reaction for discharging. • Use: Currently, these are popular as decorative industrial items or conversation starters. I had it used as a table and it was the centerpiece of our room. I would keep this forever because I have yet to see another one as beautiful… but we are moving and on a weight limit sadly.
