It was stripped and sanded to raw wood and re-stained. The original laminate top is in excellent condition. This server features four original casters (all four work perfectly) and three drawers across, one in which contains a silverware tray. The middle pull is original, but the two knobs on the end drawers are new brass ones in the same silhouette of the original brass knobs. This server will be a great addition to a dining space or living space as a bar, buffet, server or media stand. The ends pop up with ease and extend the server top for special occasions. This is a cool piece that you WILL NOT see frequently offered as these are rare and hard to find. Especially with the original (fully functional) rolling casters.
