Simon Jozsef violin, hand made in Romania in 2001. Modelled on the Stradivari Messiah of 1716 with a Carpathian spruce top, flamed maple back and dark rosewood fittings. The varnish is a warm golden orange. Set up with Passione strings, the deep and resonant sound speaks immediately with a clear voice rich in overtones. Condition is excellent.
