Description

This very early Pleasant Company wooden Swedish trunk came with a white body Kirsten doll from 1986-87, and believe it is from around that time period. It has belonged to the original owner all these years, and and is still in very nice shape - although there are some smudges and scratches here and there. I didn't notice any signs of repair work, and all looks to be original. The trunk is a beautiful blue color, and has not faded over the years. This wooden trunk has onion feet and heart-shaped cutouts on either side that can be used to lift the trunk. It is decorated with Swedish designs of red flowers and green leaves on the lid and sides. The brass plate on the back "PLEASANT COMPANY" is still bright and shiny. There are three compartments inside....great for storage of Kirsten's outfits and accessories. All clean and free of odors. This trunk is not only large but also heavy...measures 20" x 12" x 10" and weighs over seven lbs
