2005 Honda Rancher 400 4x4

Mechanic special Honda Rancher 400cc 4 X 4 I purchased this bike a week ago and was told there was nothing wrong with it, I got it home and it's been giving me problems ever since. PLEASE READ EVERYTHING!! because I do not feel like answering a bunch of questions. Issues are that it has an oil leak coming out of the top end by the exhaust. Was riding it up till 2 days ago and it stopped going into gear and it's not reading D in Auto or 1 an ESP. When it reads D or 1 on the dash it does move but that's intermittent so I'm thinking it's something electrical. So as of right now it starts up and runs but it will not move, but who knows it may start working again today. This bike has been neglected and has had a lot of work done to it. The bike has a winch with key fob, good rims and tires, decent frame and would be a great project bike for somebody that knows how to work on it.. I know nothing about working on these things and cannot afford to put the money into it. I am asking 800 and will not respond to low-ball offers.
