Description
Mario Villa ran his namesake Magazine Street gallery, one of the first in New Orleans dedicated to displaying contemporary art, for decades. The gallery closed in 2004. Mario was from Nicaragua and he died in 2021 I have access to numerous pieces from his private collection Many are religious antiquities and others are Architectural elements. There are many pieces from Europe and some date back to the 1600’s He had an extensive collection of purchases from auctions worldwide. Please message me to set up a private appointment to do a walk through of the hundreds of items still available. I leave May 7th so let’s get together ASAP.
