Description

This 1950 Martin 00-17, serial number 121319 is definitely a player and has a rich and well balance tone. Recently gone over by one of Portland, Oregon’s best Luthiers, neck was straightened, action is low. Frets were lightly leveled, crowned and polished to take care of minor wear. Mismatched keys were replaced with new period correct reproductions, otherwise this guitar is in original condition. This guitar was originally sold thru Nygard and Green guitar shop in Eureka CA. A one owner instrument, this guitar has acquired a bit of wear in its 73 year life, with scratches on the front, side and back of the body as well as on the neck. But, it is totally structurally sound and the finish is all original.
