A.M. CASSANDRE (ADOLPHE MOURON, 1(contact info removed)) WILLI'S WINE BAR. 1935 - Modern lithograph. Size: Overall 33 1/2x28 inches, Art 23x18 inches Condition Print excellent with crisp color and immaculate condition. Frame: Acrylic & Wood - slightly used with scrap in upper left corner (see picture). In 1935 Cassandre designed a project for the wine merchant Nicolas. Executed in a purist style that bore the influence of Ozenfant, it was a sensuous evocation of the simple act of pouring wine. The poster was never published. In 1984 the image was repurposed by Willi's Wine Bar and issued as their first poster. This is a beautiful modern lithograph.
