The story behind it: many yrs ago living in Cali, there was a bad rolling Earthquake. Not long afterwards I received a call from my then roomate that my 60 gallon aquariumm tank had toppled over :(( Living 45 min from work by the time I arrived home my fish were dried& stuck to the carpeting. :0 My aquariam was safe but the flimsy stand was broke. My beloved brother, a wood worker, made me a new stand. This cabinet was built with corner 4x4's, as he said, it wasn't going anywhere in another quake! And it has been the most used furniture I've had! I sold the aquarium and turned it into a home for reptiles. The top enclosure is the full length of the stand. I seperated the bottom to house an additional reptile. I kept this as a piece of furniture and ALWAYS kept clean.! This is ready for your reptiles, no cleaning up someone else's mess! In back there is a hole on each level for cords to fit through and a small piece of wood that can be unscrewed and placed back on to avoid escape at the cord! Casters on the bottom make this so easy to move around! This has gone from bedrooms to family rooms! ** FYI: The screening with the hole Has been replaced and the top cleaned.
