Cannondale CAAD 8 105

model name / number: CAAD 8 105 Cannondale CAAD8 105 Road Bike 2014 - 56cm [M/L] I bought this bike used mid-summer looking to get in some road riding. I took considerable time deciding what road riding "re-entry" bike to purchase and did not miss. Primarily I wanted a quality built bike, with carbon forks, and reliable/simple mid-level components. And this bike nailed that criteria spot on! This bike is truly stunning in appearance, sedate yet stylish black and white, even a decade after it's build date. Now don't get the idea it's pristine - it is not. There are scuffs, scratches and even a couple of nicks......nothing that detracts from the overall condition or performance, but signs of good but maintained use. There is a lot of junk, ancient or lower spec'd stuff out there - this bike is not! I got it home, cleaned it up, and replaced/updated what ever was necessary to get out there and enjoy some comfortable and fast road riding. If you've got the legs, this bike will rip! Being from legendary Cannondale road heritage it is designed and built to fly, corner, & stop with many higher end bikes, all while being comfortable enough for a leisurely Sunday spin - and being used, at this price point, all without breaking the bank! Frankly, seeing this pretty bike hanging in your garage you can damn near hear it calling you to get out and ride! If you've been considering how nice it would be to get out and cruise [or blast!] on a nice day here's your chance to rediscover the joy of riding, be it for exercise or a jaunt to the pub, this used Cannondale is a great way to do all or any of that.
