Description

Overview: Up for sale is an incredible lithograph print by New York artist, Harold Frank (1921-95). Frank was a colleague of Richard Diebenkorn and was well-known for his abstract subjects, typically figures. This piece is titled, "The Poet Carl Sandburg" and depicts a very cool semi-abstract rendering of the famous poet. Signed and dated '66 at lower right. This is an artist's proof (9/20) as noted in lower left margin. It comes matted and framed in a nice black wood frame. An absolutely incredible piece. Condition: Print is in excellent condition. Matting shows some toning. Frame shows some minor scuffing. Measurements: Print measures approximately 17.5 inches high x 13.75 inches wide (sight). Frame measures approximately 26.25 inches high x 21.25 inches wide.
