This a high quality built by Vermont castings stove company. Model is called VIGILANT . Built in the early 1980s. They are solid wood stoves to fit 24 inch logs . They cover 2400 plus SQ ft areas good for ranch style homes. They can also convert to fit existing fire brick open face fireplaces by turning the collar upside down. You can review these stoves online ,YouTube etc. This one is great condition other than the glass panel is cracked which does little to the performance. Also has a ceramic door handle that is cracked. Also functional and does not hinder performance. I am selling because I found out that is is way to much stove for the 500 sq ft that I have. I would love to keep it because of its high quality and design. I would be willing to trade for equal quality and condition towards a smaller wood burning stove. Another plus that I can offer is delivery to location depending on location. But would not be able to unload and install. This wood burner would definitely help on the rising natural gas prices.
