Homestead , Homesteading, This huge cast iron piece is 30 inches in diameter and about 17 inches tall and 17 inches deep. There is an original hole towards the top of the cauldron as pictured. It has always been that way since I inherited it. I planned on using it for a cottage core cauldron of flowers, however, it is too heavy for me to move around to clean it up and coat it all with oil after scrubbing it out. It requires two strong people to lift it once purchased. I am downsizing and this beautiful piece of history needs a new home as It is an amazing piece of rustic farmhouse decor, shabby chic she shed kettle of flowers, she shed cauldron of flowers, Barn , Barnyard Cast iron. I also can't flip it over like a pan to truly inspect further markings, or know where markings would be located on such a massive piece of cast iron, sorry. You can definitely take a look at this heavy, solid piece of cast iron. Maybe it's the vintage Carolina Cooker cast iron stew pot? They are excellent when using a fire for cooking.
