MakerBot Method X Carbon 3D printer for sale. Industrial-grade setup with a heated chamber, filament drying, and dual extruders meant for higher-end materials like carbon fiber, nylon, and ABS. The machine works but it’s not plug-and-play like modern printers. MakerBot changed direction and there’s basically no support for this model anymore. Everything online about it being a pain to use is true — it’s not user-friendly, the slicer sucks, and you need to know what you’re doing to get good results. Physically, it’s in good condition. Only used a few times. The extruders (there are eight total) are a bit clogged and need to be cleaned. The build plate has been upgraded with a Bambu PEI sheet since the original was trash. Comes with a few random spools of filament. It’s a big, solid machine that could still be worth it to someone who likes to tinker or wants an enclosed setup for high-temp materials. Just don’t expect Bambu-level performance
