Craftsman 18V 7 1/4 sliding compound miter saw

Use this saw for about 10 days to work on a composite deck project. Great little saw, light, very portable and was able to cut all the material without much of an issue (obviously composite deck boards are very dense, so an 18V saw won’t cut as fast as cutting wood.). It comes with two batteries, one brand new, still in the pack (which is a replacement battery) and the original battery that I shorted by an accident try to jumpstart my car. So if you can fix the original battery you end up getting two batteries, I just never took the time to try to reboot it. So I can’t honestly say the original battery will work or not, but it doesn’t matter because it does come with a brand new battery.
