For sale is a stellar Pair of 1957 & 1957-A $1 Silver Certificates, both in crisp high grade condition. Silver Certificates were a type of old currency where any person could take the Certificate into a Federal Reserve Bank and exchange the Certificate for the value of that denomination in silver. So if you have a $1 Silver Certificate, the bank would exchange it for $1 worth of silver. You could also spend it just like any other US bill. The seal and serial numbers on the note is blue. Normally when you find 1957 Silver Certificates they are in very worn and dark condition--and are fairly common in that condition. But what is very uncommon is finding them in crisp high grade condition like these notes, very close to being full uncirculated condition. As you can see from the pics the notes are in amazing crisp condition. The only thing preventing the "A" Note from being full uncirculated is has a very minor tear to the upper right corner of it. They are blast white and the blue and green prints are very bold and vibrant. Please message me regarding payment and shipping options.
