Description

Antique sideboard manufactured by Brickwede Brothers Better Built Furniture Company in Marietta Ohio. This piece is probably from the 1930's. Original finish except for the top surface. The surfaces with original finish show signs of age with some scratches and other signs of wear and aging. The piece has a single door. There is a brass label inside the door with the Brickwede Brothers logo. I have tried unsuccessfully to determine the year of manufacture based on the design of this label. It was originally owned by Isabelle Wallner Powell and D. Brooks Powell who lived in Philadelphia. They were married on 1937. It could be older. Dimensions are 33" h x 36" L x 16" w, and the door is 19.5"x 10". See photos for condition and details. Local pickup only please.
