Description

2002 Ford E350 Superduty 7.3 turbo diesel Campulance, a converted ambulance.  If ad is posted then its available. PLEASE READ POST BEFORE ASKING ?? We bought partially converted the top had been added and some insulation and so forth Dec of 2020. It had 286 thousand miles, and it now has 304 thousand miles so we enjoyed it. It’s mostly finished all though there is always things that can use improved or changed to fit the user.  We don’t have to sell It. I would just like to try getting a minivan to try create a small camper van out of.  Sleeps 2-4 easily can put one person on the front seat in a pinch I guess The top is accessible if you’re not very big from the inside. We have it configured that way right now with a short mattress so we can see our dog down bottom, but you can add a board do full size bed. The top does have 4 windows with a screen and awnings on the side. Jackknife sofa on the bottom Cassette toilets works great can be dumped anywhere there is dump station or can be dumped into a regular toilet very easily.  Will spoil you about not having to go into rest areas and such. Gray tank for the shower only small electric hot water if you keep the pressure low outside gets plenty hot and my wife loves hot showers, and she is ok with it. By hooking up to spigot, Does not have on board tank though it would not be hard to add just never needed to. Currently only works when water available  The only things that can’t be used off the inverter are the hot water heater and the window air conditioner.  Also, we would carry a small space heater and we have stayed in weather in the high 20s and that was fine. Duct fan to raise air or heat as needed into the loft.  Foot pump sink. 110 shore power plug, 2batteries for coach 2 batteries for engine and 2 alternators. Has a power  rpm controller on the brain on the vehicle that is currently set so that you can push in the parking brake and the charge protect feature to raise and lower the engine speed to keep the rear coach charges as needed. Works great for pets in the summer or if you need to sleep in a rest area and such Electric Microwave and refrigerator 1000 watt built in inverter system that will run the fridge and lights for at least 8 hrs or more without plugging in or starting engine so I think it would be great candidate for some solar panels. Roof rack and front hitch for bike rack as well. (500 lb capacity) 7.3 powerstroke turbo  These are noisy but very dependable. If its below 32 for very long it starts much easier by plugging in the electric block heater. Doesn’t smoke runs just as it did when we purchased. 72 mile an hr. with no problem pulling a trailer. Gets around 15 mpg I started running an amsoil diesel treatment mic that puts the additives that used to be in the fuel when engine was made, and it has quietened down a bit.  Has a visible dent in the oil pan but has never seemed t bother anything. Auto over drive transmission. Very clean pulls great Former owner and I believe it to have been replaced at some point its so clean but have no proof of that. Cruise , electric front windows, electric locks, nice stereo system Trailer hitch with 2 inch channel Trailer brakes controller, rv or 4 way plug installed. Cab ac works great as well as the rear passenger ac. Engine must be running for those to work. The things that need improving. There is an annoying leak that only leaks if you park with the front on the vehicle downhill. Not much and only if its hard rain. Think we have it fixed but not sure. If you park the other direction its fine. It’s not the prettiest build but functional as I have also used partially as work van.  If you want to have some fun and have the flexibility to change things around as you like it might be for you. If you are looking for pushbutton everything, then you probably will not be happy with this one. But its not in the 6 figures to purchase either. It has a clear Florida title but is currently located in Garner (Raleigh Durham area). Is titled as a passenger van
