Up to 300 watts Optimus speakers Peak vs. RMS: The "200 Watt" rating almost certainly refers to the Peak Power. The more important continuous power rating (RMS) is usually 100 Watts. Optimus P.A. vs. Home Speaker: Be aware that Optimus also made home stereo tower speakers (like the STS 800 or STS-200) which were also rated for 200 Watts max, but these are not designed for P.A./live performance use.
