Heathkit Apache TX-1 Amateur Radio Transmitter $175

For Sale is this Heathkit Apache TX-1 amateur radio transmitter.  This unit is in very good condition especially given its age (this model was produced between 1958 and 1964).  I owned one of these decades ago, but sold it during a move.  After a while, I started to miss my old Apache & bought this one for old times sake, but by this time I was in my 50s & really didn't have the strength or the patience required to wrestle around with this "boat anchor" (it weighs in at around 110lbs).  The transmitter powers up and appears to  be complete,  but due to the fact that it's more than 60 years old, it's being sold "as is" with no warranty implied.  I did replace the rectifier tubes several years ago, which allowed it to power up and produce RF, but I haven't used it since.  The original manual and assembly instruction sheets will be included.  $175.00.
