Description
Ernst Heinrich Roth (made under supervision of) In the style of Antonius Stradavarius Violin. From the research we've been able to do on our own & without paying over $200 just to get the Roth company to validate it's their violin, this is a Roth violin made during Roths lifetime under his tutelage. This was likely not made directly by him but by a student of his although he had to approve the work. We've seen other violins that say the same as this label going for OVER $2,500! We're not expert and are just going by the information we could piece together on the internet. If we had paid the Roth company they would have given their professional opinion and we may yet venture to do so. To US this looks just like the $2,500 violins that say, "made in the style of Antonius Stradavarius Under the supervision of Ernst Heinrich Roth" & it's got GERMANY stamped on the label. From research I know these can vary depending on the level of player they were made from. We also understand that they were made in the 1930's. What clues us in that this is a better violin is that "Tiger" stripe maple was used for the neck and the striping on almost every side of the instrument. Don't be afraid to make an offer we accept a LOT of them! Be sure to check out our other fbmp listings under PHAP THIEN too!!! Thanks for looking y'all!
