Because it hasn’t been used for a while, the pump has limescale buildup and doesn’t run properly. If you know how to do a forced deep clean, it should fix the problem. Otherwise, a brand-new pump only costs $139.99. The unit still powers on, it just shuts off when it detects it can’t humidify. I originally paid over $1,000 for this, but since I’m moving and don’t have time to mess with it, I’m letting it go for $200. Price is firm – please don’t waste time with low offers. Pick-up only.
