Description

Overview: Up for sale is a fantastic solid bronze sculpture by listed Agoura Hills, California artist, George Colman, who is well-known for his award-winning sculpture work. This piece is entitled "The Warrior," and depicts a bust of a man. Looks somewhat Roman in design. Incredible detail. The piece comes with a wood back (detaches from the sculpture and also swivels). Signed and dated on back of the head. There is also a name plate with the date, title, artist's name and a designation as an artist's proof. This piece is extremely heavy (approximately 39 pounds). Would make an incredible statement piece in any collection. Condition: Excellent condition. Very minor wax bloom and/or patina rub on back of figure's neck. Some scuffing to wood base. Measurements: Sculpture itself is about 14 inches high. With base, it stands approximately 16.75 inches high. Base measures 9 inches long x 7 inches wide.
