Description

This is the Verbatim 43888 UHD blu ray writer from Amazon Germany. This has the pioneer bdr-ud04 that does have the libredrive function enabled. Meaning you can just use software like makemkv to backup your Blu-ray. Supposedly pioneer has disabled this feature in all their newer drives. And I can confirm it works cause I took it out and tested it by backing up a handful of blu-rays. I bought it out of curiosity and originally as a backup drive since I do have a desktop drive. However it’s really just sitting there. I’m asking for $130, which is pretty much around how much I paid for the drive. Local pickup only.
