Beautiful 1930’s Art Deco Vintage Vanity Dresser with Mirror Stunning vanity drawer set, wonderfully unusual shape (Art Deco style) and features 2 side drawers, a vanity drawer directly under the mirror and two large drawers underneath. Vintage, estimated 1930’s. It is in good condition for its age with all original parts (except as noted). The dresser is a beautiful book matched walnut veneer. The walnut veneer is mostly in beautiful shape but there are some cigarette burns on the top (pictured) and some missing veneer on the bottom. By the way, we are a non-smoking household—the burns are “original” to the piece. It’s been well cleaned and doesn’t have any smell. It has what I assume are iron knob handles. 2 of the knobs are broken and one is missing. I can’t find any makers mark but I’ve included a picture of a tag of the supplier. Marsh Nicholson, house furnishers, Hull, England. Mirror is adjusted at the base with a small metal pull tab operating a manual hinge behind the mirror. Mirror is removable, you simply lift the mirror off the hooks at the back and unscrew the two wooden mirror stands. The 2 large drawers stick a bit, but I’m sure they could be fixed. Perfect for a restoration project. With a little bit of work, this piece will be a showstopper. I truly adore this piece and used it for many years, I would love to keep it but don’t have the time to do it justice. Please ask if you have any questions or want additional photos.
