Set of 4 MCM 50s 60s 70s mid-century modern dining chairs yellow oak? wood. Blonde yellow color Nice set of solid wood chairs. Not sure of the year. Maybe '60s. Could be a little older or maybe 70s, but definitely a sleek modern look. Condition is good overall. The seat is a little darkened on some of them. Could probably be sanded out and re-oiled or varnished. Not sure of the finish. I think they are just oiled but I don't really know. They would also be a good candidate for a darker stain in dark brown or even black or any color you like, but not at all necessary. Height is a little on the shorter side. I looked up height for dining room chairs and Google says about 17 in is a minimum. These are about 18. You could possibly get a little height with some little feet on the bottom maybe. But they really aren't too bad. You could also make some cushions that would look good if you want to add a couple of inches. They don't stack but they do stack by pairs one on top of the other neatly for storage. Available in Northeast Seattle. Delivery could be possible in or around Seattle for free or a reasonable charge.
