Up for sale is a beautiful 2016 D'Angelico Excel EX-SS in striking Blonde finish. This specific iteration features a sleek, rare factory configuration combining a natural blonde flamed-maple body with fully blacked-out hardware and the iconic Art Deco Stairstep trapeze tailpiece. It perfectly bridges vintage New York jazz aesthetics with a stealthy, modern look. Built with a compact 15-inch single-cutaway body and a lightweight center block, it's the ultimate balance between rich, woody hollowbody acoustic resonance and excellent high-gain feedback resistance on stage. The slim C-shape neck paired with a bound fretboard and mother-of-pearl split-block inlays makes this guitar incredibly fast and comfortable to play. Equipped with dual premium Kent Armstrong humbuckers, it delivers versatile, punchy tones ranging from smoky jazz and articulate funk to rich indie rock chime. This guitar punches well above its weight, holds it tune and is super light weight. It's in mint shape and comes with a fitted RoadRunner gigbag. Also included is the pickguard and truss-rod cover which I have removed but you can screw back on if you'd like. I just thought it looked better with out it.
