Description
Incredible silver stater from the Trier region of Germany. The oldest city in Germany! The coin was issued during the reign of Karl Kaspar von der Leyen, who was the Prince-Archbishop and Elector of Trier from 1652 to 1676. A magnificent example for any German collector to add and at an affordable level as higher graded examples exceed $500. In XF condition is a $120 coin, mint state is easily twice that.
