Description

Two bisque porcelain reliefs / wall plaques, Alt Meissen Art, Dresden, 1930s. Courting scene from the Castle-Park of Sanssouci about 1(contact info removed). Total measurements 35.5 x 30 cm and 34 x 29 cm. Each piece was carefully cleaned, repaired and painted under strong magnification. There ARE areas I was unable to paint, however it will take very close inspection at an odd angle to find them. Sadly I did not take before pictures, lesson learned. The "before" illustrated below are identical patterns and frames. Both wall plaques are completely intact, no missing pieces. Loose porcelain pieces were secured prior to painting. Light separation at corners of both frames have been repaired. Porcelain plaques are secured firmly in frames.
