Description
The Wintec R1015 is a vintage stereo receiver from the 1970s. Wintec was a small company from Southern California, and the units were made in Japan with high-quality components. The Wintec R1015 has a phono preamp and AM/FM radio, as well as Aux1 and Aux2 inputs. The receiver is rated at 15 watts per channel into 8-ohm speakers. The receiver was part of a line that also included the R-1030, R-1060, and R-1125 models. It has a sensitive AM/FM analog tuner, a signal meter, and a tuning meter. The receiver also features controls for bass, treble, and balance, as well as inputs for speakers, rheadphones, and phono. Wintec was considered a premium brand that used discrete components, and its products were designed to compete with higher-end receivers from brands like Marantz.
