Original early-20th-century Everedy Co. “GEAR-TOP” bench bottle capper from Frederick, Maryland. Heavy cast-iron construction with rack-and-pinion lift and the original red wooden handle. Base is drilled for bench mounting and the bottle platform retains the textured pad. Raised lettering on the front reads GEAR-TOP, with PAT. 1,421,698 and THE EVEREDY CO., FREDERICK, MD, USA at the base. Great functional restoration candidate for homebrewers using crown caps (26mm) or as authentic industrial décor/collection display.
