Description

Famed Greek fusion glass artist creates a jaw dropping fusion glass glass plate with infused gold / platinum / pearl leaf to be laid down horizontally or hung on a wall. This piece is semi transparent that will benefit being back lit to showcase its amazing mix of intense color and undulating texture. Fusion glass is a very complex and delicate art process laying down two pieces of glass and in between them layering paint and foreign objects and material. In this plate a good amount of gold and platinum leaf as well as random found obiects and rare cloth was used to create her trademark Cyclonic 'swirl "found in many of her pieces. After this process is finished the piece is " baked" in a special fusion glass kiln for up to 3 days at 700 degrees Fahrenheit. SACRIFICE FOR 230.
