Description

Akai 4000 models were the largest selling recorders for Akai. They featured the one micron heads. Actually, I record at 3 3/4 and still get audio fidelity. That gives me 6 albums on one reel. The MKll comes with locking reel hubs instead of rubber cups. It is part of my collection!! Not grandpas and stored for years. Just want to move up to a 10.5 inch reel model. NOTE: metal reels are not included. I can include a couple of regular reel with tape.
