Squier Upgraded Starter Pack Stratocaster Guitar and Amp

Included is an upgraded Squier strat guitar with maple neck and fretboard and HSS pickup configuration. Sunburst finish and 3-ply parchment vintage pick guard. The pickups are Fender (see picture) and the electronics upgraded to full size 250k CTS pots (if that doesn’t mean anything to you, it’s about the quality of the knobs that control volume and tone). The neck is a very thin satin finish so it plays super smooth and the rolling string trees on the headstock are a nice little feature too. The body cavity has been copper shielded to reduce hum from electrical interference. I’ve fully set up the guitar - neck relief and neck angle, pickup height, intonated each string, set the saddle heights to a comfortable low-ish action. And the frets have all been polished. And the 3-tone sunburst finish looks great! I’m not the first owner of this guitar but it looks like the previous owner put some time and care into customizing it. I’ve put it through its paces so it’s in tip-top playing shape. The amp is a nice little V Tone analogue modeling amp from Behringer with an 8-inch speaker. It has 3 amp voices: California (Fender Deluxe inspired), British (Vox/Marshall) and Tweed (vintage Fender sound). Each voice has a clean, high gain, and hot setting. There are also 3 choices of speaker style, which I don’t think makes a huge difference but it’s there. There are a lot of tonal variations with this one and it’s all analogue so it has a natural, non-digital sounding response. Also included is a pro 20 foot instrument cable, leather guitar strap, and a heavy duty padded gig bag with backpack straps. Hope this guitar finds a happy home for the new year!
