Description

OBO 1(contact info removed), year next to impossible to verify, really. Straight neck, quiet pots, five-way switch works smooth, humbucker and single coils work great. It's a well maintained and appreciated guitar minus the heart some good scratched into the back when it was new. -Great playing, rare little piece of Guild guitar history from the mid-1980s. More traditional headstock, it's about the shape/size of a beach sandal, and probably the most difficult "Burnside" model to obtain. -No specific model name available, as this variation was never advertised in the dealer brochures. These were troubled times for American guitar dreadnought and traditional acoustics companies like Guild. They got desperate and put bricks of cash behind entry-level, cheeseball "metal shredder super strat" imports, much like so many other classic names during that period (Fender, Martin, Epiphone, many more). Information on these is nearly impossible to find as they tried so many slightly different variants. Luckily, this one was spares the maligned pointy hockey stick looking headstock.
