Description
Hey all, I’ve got my 2003 RM250 Two Stroke up for grabs. Absolutely nothing wrong with it, starts up first or second kick every time. Fresh rebuild on the top end at the end of last year. Also did some upgrades and mods over the last two years of ownership. This is setup for trail riding and more torque applications. I went through a lot of the things on this bike and what I wanted to do for my build however as time keeps going by I don’t ride enough to justify keeping it sitting here. So I think it’s time for her new home to be found. Only con I truly have is I don’t have the title. I had a bill of sale when I bought it and never transferred it over. If I had the title I’d ask more but think I have it at a fair price for what it is. I can provide vin upon request to check it’s not stolen. The following are the mods/ work done to it: -Top end rebuild I did myself using only oem Suzuki parts -Gnarly expansion chamber for more torque less top end -Carbon Fiber expansion chamber rock guard -New seat cover that I reupholstered myself -New sprocket(s) and Chain New plastics all around to make it just a little unique, didn’t want to look like every Suzuki out there and went with a Nardo Grey look -New black Clarke desert tank -New throttle cable and throttle tube all aluminum -Front forks rebuilt completely by David Scales out of Victorville CA for a 160-170lbs rider -New ProTaper handle bars Now the list of cons: -Front brake could use attention, I’ve read the stock front brakes on these years of RM were pretty weak so I’m assuming I’m just not used to that. You could probably put the KX450f front brake on and it’ll make a big difference. Just haven’t put time into it. -The subframe has a stripped threads from one of the sides that holds the seat in place, doesn’t effect the rideablity of the bike but always bugged me that the last owner didn’t point that out, will need to be rethreaded or weld an aluminum nut on the other side of it. -And the final con and why I’m selling for less than what it’s actually worth. The title, I don’t have one it’s a bill of sale and sold as is. This bike will come with two stands and any extra parts I have for it. Including the sprockets I had with it when purchased and a Steahly flywheel weight I believe it’s an 8oz. To help prevent stalling while trail riding. It’s currently not installed from when I was doing the rebuild on the bike and took that off. Thanks for looking.
