Description

Vintage Antique Wood Barrel / Nail Keg / Cask with Wire Straps / bands. I believe the wood staves are probably oak and that it was originally a nail keg/cask. Nice antique piece that fits most any decor, rustic, primitive, vintage, farmhouse, etc. Maybe as a office trash can? Or porch plant stand if set upside down and use base for top? Approximately 10" diameter at each end and approximately 18" tall. Condition is good considering age and original use. It does have some damage/dent on bottom edge and a little loose from the wood drying out being inside during the dry winter air which is to be expected for a wood barrel, but it keeps its shape well. It was displayed on a covered porch and the wood staves kept tight with outside humidity. Please see all photos or ask for more if needed.
