Vintage 1930s Powder Puff Music Box | It Works! • Vintage mechanical powder puff music box • Popularized between the 1920s and 1950s, these bell-shaped, wind-up vanity containers were designed to sit on a dresser to store loose face powder and a cosmetic puff • Metal, possibly aluminum or brass, with an anodized or painted finish; classic green aged patina • Footed base containing a mechanical wind-up music movement • The removable top lid is adorned with a stylized flower petal finial and a marble central knob • On underside, it reads: “A Tree In The Meadow” (presumably the musical tune) • In amazing working condition
