DISNEY'S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST CHRISTMAS TREE by DANBURY MINT, Limited Production. This authentic limited release by the Danbury Mint about 20 years ago is a very rare and hard to find treasure, featuring the beloved characters from the Academy Award winning animated hit Disney's Beauty and the Beast. Belle dances with the Beast in front of the tree, while Belle's father Maurice, and her antagonist Gaston look on. Lumiere is the removable tree topper, and Cogsworth and Mrs. Potts are featured on the tree with other characters, red roses, and the dancing dishes.The figurine stands 13-1/4" tall on a base that measures almost 8" in diameter. The bottom of the base is covered with felt to protect surfaces and bears the authentication from the Danury Mint. It comes in its original box, from a one-owner, smoke-free home, where it was displayed briefly one Christmas and has remained in its box the rest of the time.
