Design and Build: The 1Up heavy-duty double bike rack is a tray-style hitch rack made entirely from aluminum for durability and rust resistance. It features a wheel clamp design with two non-directional clamps that hold the bike by the tires, protecting the frame and fork. The trays can be folded up when not in use for easier storage. Capacity: The standard double rack can carry two bikes with a maximum weight capacity of 50 lbs per bike. The Super Duty version can handle up to 75 lbs per bike. It's compatible with wheel sizes from 16 to 29 inches and tires up to 3.1 inches wide in its standard configuration. A Fat Tire Spacer Kit is available to accommodate tires between 3.1 and 4.9 inches. You can expand the capacity to up to four bikes with additional add-ons. Ease of Use: The rack is described as easy to load and unload bikes. The two side arms secure bikes by pressing them in to close around the tires. The rack easily folds up for storage or for tilting down to access the rear of the vehicle. Security: The 1UP secures to the hitch receiver with an expanding wedge and a special hex wrench, eliminating the need for a traditional hitch pin.
