Handmade Complete Beekeeper 4 Screen Starter Bee Box

My grandfather built this bee box, ( a ‘starter bee box’) He made many of these for family & other gardeners in his village that desired honey making friends on their land. My grandfather loved beekeeping & in a hope to introduce this pastime [with wonderful benefits to the environment] he used his woodworking skills to make this ready to move in hive with 4 screens. The box is a white color with a silver metal ‘roof’ - the metal has some patina which will happen with the outdoor use of this box - ‘patina’ is not rust just a dulling of the shine. This metal is like roof flashing for the best description. I must admit that I do not have the information I need to describe this specifically for bee keepers but it is made by hand & ready to be inhabited. Metal trim covers the ‘roof’ & forms the ‘doors’ that swivel open/ closed - the lid lifts off & sets securely in place This bee box is made with much love, care & time and is ready to be enjoyed Bees are cool, Im sure the next owner will already know that too. Measures: Longest length & widest width 15 ¼” x 91/2” Lid dimensions 9 ½” x 14 34” W x 2”  Interior measures 11 ¼” x 61/4” Screens are  7 ¼” x 4 ½” Smoke/ pet free environment Clean, stored with care.
