Description

Up for sale is a rare, life-size R2-D2 cooler from 1996, originally produced by Kooler Kraft for Star Wars promotions. Unlike most, this one does not have the Pepsi logo, making it even rarer and more realistic to the iconic droid. This cooler was designed to promote the re-release of the original Star Wars trilogy in theaters and originally held beverages in convenience stores. It stands approximately life-size and has been a part of my collection for about 25 years. Condition: Some slight wear from storage in my garage. The dome had a crack, which I taped, but it still looks great. A small portion of one leg was damaged over time and is covered in white tape. Despite these minor imperfections, it’s a fantastic collectible and a unique display piece for any Star Wars fan. This is a rare opportunity to own a truly special piece of Star Wars memorabilia.
