Jacob is a scammer, a liar, and to be trusted as much as the dealers on 82nd. Trust Jacob as much as you would trust AIDS to not kill you.
Though I bought my car "as is" and it was a while back, I was waiting until I was able to get everything fixed as to make a comprehensive list of all the things he lied to me about. Listed is all the things I was told was "good to go, and/or he personally fixed", followed with a list of what I had to fix/replace in order to make my car run the way it should have after I bought it from him.
he said he:
-replaced the bushings for the control arms and verified the steering components were good
-timing kit W/pump etc. was done
-no oil leaks (The amount of oil leaks this car had resulted in all the issues later experienced)
-new spark plugs
I was also told that it "was good to go and would give me no problems, and that I was buying a great car". I did test drive it yes but a test drive can only provide so much information.
$2,350 later I finally have a reliable car, mind you this cost is me buying the parts and doing the work myself. Had a mechanic done what I had to do to my car to get it running right it would have been more than I paid for the car.
-Realignment front and rear
-Alternator
-engine oil radiator w/coolant lines
-blown head gasket warped head 0.007", had to have it put in a 3 axes milling process
-extra thick head gasket and head gasket shim
-full timing kit w/water and oil pump, pullies, belt, main seals and gaskets.
-the "new plugs" two different makes and clearly not new, replaced with OEM Bosch.
-all 5 coil packs replaced. 3 of the 5 were roached
-new PCV valve oil filter housing
-new full wire harness
-skid plate
-control arms W/bushings
-sway bar linkage
-tie rod and tie rod ends and steering rack boot kit
-coolant hoses inlet and outlet (Volvos are very complex, not fun)
-battery
-intake, exhaust, throttle body, camshaft, valve, PCV, and all other seals and gaskets replaced when I performed the full rebuild sans the crank case.
-VVT solenoid valves
-re-mapping of computer
Now my little Nadja drives like a champ.
When I replaced the steering components the components on the car were of all different makes than each other I kid you not one control arm was Volvo OEM the other was aftermarket and was 10Lb lighter (cheap materials), the sway bar linkage one was Meyle brand the other was half the diameter and just stamped Made in China. the tie rods ends were different lengths than each other probably pulled one off of a XT90 or something, at least the two tie rods appeared to be Volvo, but the boots were roached and clearly bush-wacked back together, but he didn't even bother to zip tie and hose clamp them back on properly (really Jacob? new boot kit would have broken the bank common man).

DO NOT BUY FROM SIX FIVE MOTORS!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! What an amazing car buying experience. I had been looking all over the country for an old Isuzu Trooper like the one I used to have and I came across a posting for one at Six Five Motors that looked perfect (even though it was all the way across the country from me). I spoke to Jacob and, even though they typically operate relatively locally from what I understand, he agreed to help me arrange to have it shipped.

The process took several weeks and I can imagine was a pain in the butt to deal with on his end, but he was fantastic. Communication was outstanding and he was extremely patient with me as I tried to locate the best deal on transportation. He was very honest and transparent about it being an older vehicle that would require a higher level of care and maintenance - which I knew going in.

When the Trooper arrived, it looked even better than the pictures. The interior is immaculate and it runs like butter. The A/C even works and runs cold! (I would imagine this isn't typical for a vintage off-roader like this). Title and keys arrived promptly and I am in love with this thing. I can't recommend this place enough - if you want a good car buying experience with honest and friendly people with extremely reasonable prices - Six Five Motors is the way to go. Talk to Jacob!

We purchased two used vans from Six Five Motors. No warranty was supposed to be provided, and that was a mutual understanding. However, we experienced a slight issue with the older van and Six Five Motors, at their own expense, picked up the van, repaired the issue, and delivered the van right back to us as fast as they could! No additional charges were billed, no head ache was experienced.

Honest dealers are hard to find. I will definitely be using Six Five Motors in the future. They provide perfect service, quick response times, and competitive pricing.
