Used (normal wear)
Both Menu's are vintage and definitely show wear, bends, tiny rip near handle of menu. Drinks were as cheap as $1.25 on the smaller, older menu. Same Drinks, but now range from $3.25-$4.25. Glass is in perfect condition for it's age. This is the souvenir glass that comes with the Pittypat's Pitch vodka drink There is a picture on the newer menu Really cool collectable The restaurant opened in 1967 and it's still operating! It was named after Scarlett O'Hara's Aunt in the film Gone with the Wind.
After much research the owner Mr. Anthony, printed his menus in a unique way, on a fan. Reminiscent of the fans that were present at every pew at a funeral parlor, they are still used today. Perhaps one of the reasons behind his idea was that the building at 25 Cain Street was indeed a funeral parlor before it was renovated to house Pittypat’s Porch? Little has changed since the day they opened. Their menus are still fans, and they still have mint juleps!
