1997 Jeep Wrangler TJ 112,275 miles (Current as of 12/2/20) 4.0L, Automatic, 4x4 White, Tan Soft Top Hankook Dynapro MT tires 31x10.50x15 Quick story on the Jeep: Searched high and low looking for a clean TJ for my wife a few years ago. Purchased in December of 2017 from a firefighter in Phoenix. He told me he and his family loved the Jeep and simply needed larger Jeep(JK). Prior to his ownership I am told he purchased it from the original owners who owned a bed and breakfast in east Phoenix. This jeep was the wifes vehicle and she simply drove it around the property/rock hounding until they sold their business. The Jeep is exceptionally clean for its age with no rust or any major body damage (Few subtle dents). Tailgate was repainted by original owners, as I was told the spare dented the tailgate slightly when it was backed into something. Work performed: - Front brakes were completely replaced with new Centric rotors, pads and calipers. Rear brakes were completely rebuilt with new drums. Entire system bled and changed. - New PA Performance Starter. - Transmission mount replaced. - Exhaust was replaced with Banks Monster exhaust. -Rear main seal replaced with Mopar OEM. Fine hair line crack was found in transmission housing when replaced, therefore the housing was pulled welded and inspected. Absolutely no leaks now! - Since the oil pan was dropped for the rear main seal a new Mopar OEM timing chain, harmonic balancer, crankshaft sprockets and oil pan gasket were also replaced. - Completely new A/C compressor, evap canister, etc... The A/C was not working when purchased from the previous owner. I was told he pressure washed the engine then the A/C and horn stopped. After replacing the entire system the relays were also found to be bad. After replacing both the A/C is constantly ice cold and horn works great now. - Brand new water pump and upper hardline just installed 11/20/20, as there was a subtle leak beginning. - Fan clutch replaced, new upper/lower radiator hoses and system flush. - Brake booster was changed right before purchase due to a hiss in the system. - Rear gears had three bolts that backed out, sheared three teeth and cracked an axle shaft. The entire rear axle was rebuilt at Adams Drive Shaft with 3.08 gears and a new axle shaft was installed. - Soft top was replaced 1.5 years ago with Pavement Ends Saddle top. - Kenwood KDC-X501 head unit with BT, USB connections. Also, have Select Increments Dash-Pods to replace the factory dash speakers with 5 1/4" speakers. Just never got around to changing them out. - Factory bumpers, flares and mirrors sprayed with bullet liner. Have a hitch as well. * A few minor cosmetic issues on the driver seat where a couple cracked vinyl places have begun to show. Driver plastic sun visor mount recently broke. Easy fix for less then $15 bucks. No check engine lights, check gauges, and fires right up. Tires were on the vehicle when purchased and while there is plenty of tread left, they are showing signs of dryness on the sidewalls. Originally listed at $11,750, yet adjusted price accordingly due to the tires. I did my best to be as transparent as feasible to appeal to the right buyer. With that being said I am not attempting to reach 5000 people, merely the 5 who understand what they are looking for and how clean the Jeep is.
